Her Story

A Cirque Du Soleil acrobat turned photographer turned mom, Shannon knows all about the right, and very wrong ways to take care of yourself. As a photog, I can verify that we work long days, often without eating, and we carry a lot of gear around. If you're a parent, you know how many times throughout the day you can sit down and enjoy a quiet, well thought out meal. Virtually zero. We abuse our bodies day in and day out. One of the biggest reasons for that is because we're just unaware of the tiny changes we can make that will make a huge difference. That's where Shannon comes in.

After having her second child, she dealt with a nasty bout of postpartum depression. It was while fighting that that she decided to take control of her body and her health and find a way to live a healthy lifestyle that was actually sustainable while raising 2 small children. Let's face it, going to the gym every day and cooking all of your meals from scratch isn't feasible. Shannon, however, found a way.

Why She's Awesome

Even if you don't have kids, Shannon should be your new best friend. She doesn't just serve moms, she helps ALL busy people make healthy changes in their routines. And the thing I love most about her style is that it's not about being skinny. It's not about weight loss. It's about being healthy, which can lead to weight loss, but it's not the main reason. Shannon takes a holistic approach. She helps you find ways to eat better, sleep better, stay hydrated, and the changes are far from intrusive. 

Another reason I wanted to introduce you to Shannon is because she doesn't believe that health should be a luxury item. She makes it accessible to your calendar and your wallet.
